How To Make Natural Henna Powder And How To Apply On Hair At Home

Henna powder is nothing but the powder form of henna leaves with some chemical and other chemicals that helps to increase the color. There are so many colors are available in the market like black, brown and burgundy color etc but some times the chemicals in the henna powder cause infections so it is always better to make your own henna powder. It is chemical free and less cost. The natural color of the henna is thick red and brown. You can increase this color to burgundy color by adding beetroot juice. This remedy will give the near result of market black henna powder.
         There are many advantages of applying henna to the hair. It is the direct application on the hair and it will give all the below results if it is chemical free otherwise some more side effects are added.so it is always better to use natural henna products. What you need:

•  henna leaves - 2 cups
• amla powder - 2 tablespoons
• guava leaves -5
• Neem leaves - 5
• Hibiscus leaves -15
• jasmin leaves -5

How to make:

1. Take all the leaves in one bowl and wash it to clean the fungus on the leaves.
2. Take a cotton cloth and spread all the leaves to dry.
3. Now place all the leaves aside for a few days to dry them completely.
4. Keep it aside till the leaf became coarsely crushed on your hands when you touch it.
5. Now make a fine paste from the dry leaves using the blender.
6. Starin it once to make a smooth powder.

HOW TO MAKE HENNA PASTE

The basic rule for henna is it should be applied on oily hair if your hair is clean then add two to three drops of any kind of oil that you preferred in the henna paste. You can make your own henna paste by adding curd, lemon etc. In this post, I want to share the basic two types of henna application.

For Normal Application:

If you want to apply normal henna without any color enhancement then use this mask. Apply this mask on all over the scalp and cover it with a shower cap.leave it for 2 hours and wash your hair with mild shampoo.

What you need:

• tea powder
• henna powder

How to make:

1. Take out the tea decoction from the tea.
2. Add the required amount of  henna powder to it
3. Mix it without any lumps and the consistency should be like dosa batter
4. sock it for one night before the application.

For Dark burgundy color:

If you want to get a dark brown color that is near the shade of the black color then use this mask. Apply this mask all over the scalp and cover it with shower cap.leave it for 2 hours and shampoo with mild shampoo in lukewarm water. For better results, use this mask twice in a month.

• Beetroot juice
• henna powder

How to make:

1. Take the juice from the beetroot and strain the juice using a strainer so that there are no dust particles in it.
2. add the beetroot juice with henna powder in a bowl and mix it well without any lumps.
3. sock it for 8 hours before the application
